The selections are made and locked then. The only later change is the 11:00 price check, which drops any tip priced under 2.0.
How the tips are chosen
Prime is our combined model. Six independent models each rate every runner: the Elite predictor (form), predicted race times, the C&D Scorer, Goliath, Atlas (all-weather) and Apex. Prime weighs them by how much each has earned our trust in that type of race, flat, all-weather or jumps, and updates that trust every night from real results.
Each morning at 06:00 we take every race where Prime's top-rated horse is also the fastest on our predicted race times. If the two disagree, the race is skipped. The Top 10 are the 10 of those with the highest Prime win chance. The other lists use the time predictor's own win chance instead: Best bets need 50% or more, and the Times 35%+ list takes every agreeing race above that line, however many there are. Biggest gaps is separate: the 6 races where the time predictor's fastest horse is furthest clear of its second-fastest, whether or not Prime agrees. The horses are locked at 06:00. Early-morning exchange prices are too thin to trust, so the price rule waits: at 11:00 a horse priced under 2.0 is left out and its place isn't filled, because at those prices even a high strike rate lost money in our testing. Some days a list is short or empty. Nothing else changes after publishing. Results are settled to £1 level stakes at exchange SP less 5% commission (SP where there's no BSP), and non-runners are void. Every day stays on this page, winners and losers.
The Patterns list works differently: it doesn't use the models at all. It takes runners that match 2 or more historical patterns which have beaten their prices in both halves of their history, locked at 10:00. The banner totals count every tip on any list once.
